Appointments

appointmentsWe prefer to consult by appointment as this allows us to organise our working day more effectively and avoids your having to wait for long periods. We recognise the need to make special arrangements for patients requiring to be seen quickly. If you are particularly worried, it is sometimes helpful to let the receptionist know a little bit about your problem so the doctor can determine what special arrangements are necessary.

Appointments can be booked in advance for routine problems, or on the day for something more urgent.

Patients are welcome to book a face to face or telephone appointment, which ever suits best.

Patients not seen within the previous three years may request an appointment with our practice nurse or a GP for a general check on their health.

Patients aged 75 or over may request a similar appointment. This can be undertaken in the home if the doctor decides it would be more appropriate in light of your medical condition.

Access

Disabled parking spaces are provided close to the surgery for those physically less able, and there are no stairs in the building. Please observe the ‘No Parking’ instructions to allow for ambulance access.  Do not park or wait in/at the doctor spaces to the rear of the health centre, access is required at all times by GPs.
